The upper part of this series remains the same, featuring Ottawa's iconic landmarks; the majestic Parliament buildings, National Art Gallery, National War Memorial, & the elegant Chateau Laurier Hotel.  The Canadian flag graces the top of the Parliament Peace Tower, infusing a sense of national pride & identity. The foreground beautifully portrays the Rideau Canal, celebrated as the world's longest skating rink, anchoring the piece in the unique cultural and historical fabric of Canada's capital city.

​The Inspiration - The following 3 paintings were inspired by Sarah Ban Breathnach book titled SOMETHING MORE, the cover illustrator Margaret Chodos Irvine.
I had  gone through 2 years of health challenges which felt like a period of hell but in fact was my HUGE life transformation #1. It was actually a GIFT but I didn't know that during what felt like the most challenging period of my life.
I had never read inspirational books only fiction prior to my transformation. Sarah's book was the first self help book I picked up as I was emerging on the other side. I went on to read hundreds of inspirational books, I couldn't get enough of the exciting concepts of  Law of Vibration/ transformation/soul searching/authentic self...
I had already adopted the swirl design to represent my roller coaster feeling/hang on tight,
things are going to get exciting.
